In times of multiple crises and the growing influence of autocratic regimes, it is crucial to rely on scientifically sound, effective instruments. Our support must be as effective as possible, in the interest of all.
A strong and effective international cooperation also means a strong and secure Germany.

Kooperation Global is a non-profit think tank committed to strong, impact-oriented development cooperation. In close collaboration with academia, policymakers, practitioners, and civil society, we develop evidence-based and practical solutions for exceptionally effective global cooperation.
Who is behind Kooperation Global?
People from business, academia, politics, and civil society share our values and goals and support our activities. Kooperation Global is based on volunteer and non-profit work and is financially supported by the Hasler and Mercator Foundations, maintaining independence and political neutrality. The initiative is coordinated by Gabriel Hanrieder and Johanna Wicke.
